I can make graphics for myself and my clients whenever I want to, and at this point in my career, they take me literally like 5 minutes to create. I did not go to school for design. It was something I decided to teach myself when working as the social media manager at boutique because I was over relying on using programs like Canva to make cool graphics for Instagram, the website, emails, etc.
However, when I was first learning how to this program, it was so overwhelming. There were sooo many videos out there and I had no real ‘structure’. I kind of just taught myself things as I needed to learn them, which definitely was way more time consuming than it needed to be.

In this 5 week course, we will go over all the ins, outs, and shortcuts to using .AI. We'll start out with the easy stuff and gradually get more advanced as the weeks go on. I’m also providing each student with homework and access to a private Facebook group where you can ask me any questions while going through the course and get feedback on your designs. Think of this as your acceptance to design school but better — you can drink wine, learn from your bed, work at your own pace, and connect with other amazing entrepreneurs (& aspiring entrepreneurs) just like you!

A little backstory… I started my business as a side hustle/creative outlet alongside my full time job as a social media manager/graphic designer/creative director (yes, I wore many hats!). Just like many others, I was laid off when COVID-19 came to town. Rather than worry and panic, I took this as a sign from the universe that it was time to go all in with my business — and I am forever grateful. I have had the chance to work with incredible women-owned businesses on their branding, websites, social media, you name it! However, through my own personal journey, I realized how important mindset is when it comes to business. It’s a piece that a lot of people are missing, and a piece that I truly believe is going to get you to the next level. I am so excited to finally show others how to live and run their business with purpose, clarity, and confidence.

Although this course was designed with business owners in mind, you don't need to be a business owner to benefit from it! If you are remotely interested in learning graphic design or want a fun creative outlet, I think this course would be great for you.
